Banners from St Marys Church

These two banners appear to be liturgical hangings, likely originating from St Marys Church in Chesham. One banner is a deep red colour, while the other is a lighter cream colour with gold detailing. The cream banner features a depiction of a cross, and both banners exhibit a hand-crafted quality, suggesting they were made or commissioned for use in religious services.

Condition and Collectibility

The banners show signs of age and use, with some fading and minor wear consistent with their likely history. Despite this, they remain visually striking and offer a glimpse into the liturgical practices of St Marys Church. These banners would be of interest to collectors of religious textiles, church history enthusiasts, or those seeking unique decorative items with a historical connection.
