The accompanying pin badge, featuring a detailed design, likely denotes recognition for dedicated service, potentially within a specific unit or role, such as the Royal Engineers as indicated in the provided context.

Condition and Collectibility

The medals and badge exhibit signs consistent with age and prior display, showing some wear and patina. While a detailed assessment of authenticity requires expert examination, the items present as genuine examples of their type. This lot would be of interest to collectors of military memorabilia, particularly those focused on the First World War or the Royal Engineers, offering a tangible connection to the history of the conflict and the individuals who served.
