Tyco Sega Video Driver Boxed Set
This lot is a retro Tyco Video Driver set, presented in its original outer box with Sega branding. The packaging is titled “Video Driver” and carries the tagline “Real Driving Excitement!”, identifying it as an interactive driving toy designed to work with a television and a VHS or VCR player. The box describes a red dashboard console with a steering wheel, a gear shift and a counter that keeps track of how far you have driven, along with a “California Chase” VHS video colour cassette. The packaging states that no wire connection to the television is required and that the set is suitable for ages 4 and up.
Packaging Condition and Collector Appeal
The outer box shows general wear, including creasing along the edges and corners, and the front flap at the lower left is lifted. The box is presented as a complete set on its banner, but the contents have not been verified and the condition of any internal components is not confirmed. As a boxed example of a 1990s Tyco and Sega crossover toy, it is likely to appeal to collectors of retro video-linked toys and to buyers seeking nostalgic driving-game memorabilia.
