Typhoon Red Kitchen Scales
This lot comprises a set of red kitchen scales by Typhoon, presented with a polished stainless steel pan on the upper section. The scales have a red painted body and a large round dial with a white outer scale and a contrasting red centre. The dial is marked in kilograms, pounds and ounces, with the printed Typhoon name visible on the face. The design follows a retro style, with a bold colour and a traditional mechanical dial. The stainless steel bowl sits neatly on the top of the body.
Condition and Collector Interest
The stainless steel bowl shows some light surface marks and general signs of handling, while the red finish appears generally intact. The dial face is clear and the markings are legible. No further information on the scales’ internal mechanism is given in this description. Retro-styled kitchen scales in a bold colour are popular with collectors of kitchenalia and with buyers looking to add a period-inspired piece to a country or vintage-style kitchen.
