The packaging presents the unit as a dual standard data and fax modem, supporting V.FC, V.32 terbo and V.32 bis. The box describes the Courier as “The only V.Everything modem”, and it is branded with the U.S. Robotics name and the tagline “The Intelligent Choice in Data Communications”.

The front of the box shows the external unit with its front-panel display and “Dual Standard V.34 Data/Fax” lettering.

Condition and Collectability

The box shows general age-related wear, with creasing and light marking to the corners and edges, and some soiling to the surface. The contents have not been confirmed and the unit has not been tested, so no assumptions should be made regarding its completeness or working order. The item is offered as seen.

Boxed early dial-up modems from the 1990s are of interest to collectors of vintage computing and networking equipment, as well as to those who enjoy period technology and original retail packaging. The strong graphic design and branding of the Courier range will appeal to nostalgia buyers and enthusiasts of early internet hardware.
