Vintage Veterinary Saw
This is a vintage veterinary saw, manufactured by Black Sellars & Co in 1942. This saw features a robust metal frame and a curved blade designed for precision cutting, likely for use in animal medical procedures. The handle is designed for a secure grip, and the overall construction suggests a durable tool built for demanding use.
Condition and Collectibility
This saw shows signs of age and prior use, with some patina and wear consistent with its age. It is a fascinating piece of medical history, and would be of interest to collectors of vintage medical tools, military memorabilia, or veterinary equipment. The saw’s 1942 manufacture date suggests it may have seen service during World War II, adding to its historical significance.
