Victorian Double Florin Coin

This is a silver double florin coin, dating back to 1887, during the reign of Queen Victoria. The coin features the Jubilee head portrait of Queen Victoria, a design used to commemorate her Golden Jubilee. The obverse displays the Queen in profile, with the inscription “VICTORIA DEI GRATIA”, and the reverse features a crowned shield with the denomination.

Coin Condition & Collectability

The coin shows signs of wear consistent with age and circulation. Despite this, the details of the portrait and inscription remain largely legible. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
