Victorian Schierholz Porcelain Oil Lamp

This is a beautifully crafted Victorian oil lamp, attributed to Schierholz porcelain, dating approximately 1865-1907. The lamp features a delicate porcelain base adorned with cherubic figures and floral motifs, all rendered in pastel shades. The base supports a frosted glass shade, completing the elegant design. The lamp’s intricate detailing and quality materials exemplify the artistry of the Victorian era.

Condition and Collectibility

The lamp presents as a desirable piece for collectors of antique lighting and porcelain. While age-related wear is present, the lamp retains much of its original charm and aesthetic appeal. The porcelain base shows some minor crazing consistent with age, and the glass shade may exhibit minor imperfections. This lamp would be a stunning addition to any collection or a unique statement piece for a discerning home.
