Victorian Bevelled Glass Jesso Mirror
This is a large antique Victorian bevelled glass jesso mirror, approximately 4ft in length. The mirror features a decorative, ornate gilt frame, typical of the Victorian era. The bevelled glass adds depth and reflects light beautifully, making it a striking focal point for any room. The jesso construction provides a solid base for the intricate detailing of the frame.
Condition and Collector Appeal
This mirror exhibits age-related damage to the frame, consistent with its antique status. While the mirror retains much of its original charm, the frame shows signs of wear and possible restoration over time. Despite these imperfections, this mirror would be a desirable piece for collectors of Victorian antiques or those seeking a statement piece with character and history.
