Victorian Wilkinson & Sons Tailor Scissors

These impressive tailor scissors are crafted from brass, exhibiting the quality associated with Wilkinson & Sons. The substantial blades suggest a professional use, likely for heavy-duty fabric cutting. The design reflects the Victorian aesthetic, with a focus on functionality and durability, making them a striking example of tailoring tools from the period.

Condition and Collectibility

These scissors show signs of age and use, with patina and wear consistent with their age. While not newly manufactured, this wear adds to their character and authenticity. They would be a desirable addition to a collection of antique sewing tools, or appreciated by someone interested in the history of tailoring and craftsmanship.
