Victorian Cast Iron Fireplace Fender
This is a beautifully detailed Victorian cast iron fireplace fender. The fender features intricate floral and foliate designs along its length, with decorative finials at each corner. Likely dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, this fender would have originally been positioned at the front of a fireplace hearth to protect the floor from embers and soot, while also adding a touch of elegance to the room.
