Barometer Description

This is a vintage wooden wall-hanging aneroid barometer. The barometer features a circular dial with both Fahrenheit and Celsius scales, and a central bi-metal coil mechanism. The wooden case has a warm, aged patina, suggesting it dates to the mid-20th century. The design is classic and would suit a variety of interior styles, particularly those with a nautical or vintage aesthetic.

Condition

This barometer shows signs of age and use, most notably a crack in the glass covering the dial. The wood case exhibits some wear and minor imperfections consistent with its age. Despite these imperfections, the barometer retains much of its original charm and character, making it a desirable piece for collectors of vintage scientific instruments or those seeking unique home decor.
