Vintage Enamel Bee Brooch
This delightful brooch depicts a bee crafted from gold-toned metal, featuring vibrant yellow and black enamel detailing. The body of the bee is adorned with what appear to be white stones, adding a touch of sparkle. The wings are intricately designed, creating a realistic and eye-catching effect. This piece is a classic example of mid-century costume jewellery, likely dating from the 1950s or 1960s.
Condition and Collectibility
The brooch shows signs of wear consistent with its age, but remains in good condition overall. The enamel is largely intact, with only minor imperfections. This vintage bee brooch would be a charming addition to a jewellery collection, particularly for those interested in insect-themed or retro pieces. Its unique design and quality craftsmanship make it a desirable item for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
