Two Pairs of Vintage Binoculars Including Prinz
This lot comprises two pairs of binoculars, one of which is identified as Prinz. The larger pair is finished in black with a textured covering, a central focusing wheel and a neck strap. The smaller pair is a set of opera glasses with tan-coloured handles, silver-tone metal fittings and a folding centre bar. Both pairs are offered with their own carrying cases, the larger one a rectangular black case with a strap and a fastening flap, and the smaller one a compact black case with a leather strap.
Age-Related Condition and Collector Interest
The cases show general signs of age, including light handling marks and wear to the edges, consistent with a lot of this type. The working condition of the binoculars and opera glasses has not been confirmed, and no further description of optical quality can be given, so prospective buyers are advised to inspect the lot carefully before bidding. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
