Lot of Three Vintage Brass Table Lamps
This lot comprises three vintage brass table lamps offered together. The first is an oil-style lamp with a tall clear glass chimney, a brass fount and a fluted column rising to a dished circular base, fitted with a cable and plug. The second has a slender brass rod with a pointed finial, supported by a central column and twin scrolling serpent-form arms, each with a socket, above a scalloped circular base. The third has a short brass column with two candle-style sleeves on curved arms, a ring-topped rod rising above, and a stepped circular base, also fitted with a cable and plug.
Condition and Collectability
The lamps show the general signs of age expected of vintage brass, including changes to the surface finish consistent with use. All three have been adapted for electrical use, as evidenced by the fitted cables and plugs, and the original arrangements cannot be verified. The glass chimney on the first lamp is present. The varied forms within this group, from the oil-style lamp to the serpent-armed and candle-style designs, may appeal to collectors of decorative brass lighting or to buyers seeking distinctive pieces for a period or traditional interior.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
