Vintage Campingaz Lumogaz Gas Lanterns
This lot comprises two vintage Campingaz Lumogaz gas lanterns, offered together with a blue Campingaz gas cartridge. Each lantern has a metal wire carry handle and a shade fitted within a wire cage, mounted on a blue gas cartridge base. One lantern has a grey metal-finish shade bearing the Campingaz logo, while the other has a white shade. A further blue Campingaz cartridge, printed with the French slogan “l’énergie en cartouche bleue”, is included in the lot.
Condition and Collectability
The lanterns show wear consistent with age and use, including scuffing to the blue bases and areas of paint loss to the wire carry handles. A paper label with handwritten notes is affixed to one lantern base, and a second label bears a date and the annotation “x2”. The condition of the internal components and any mantles has not been verified, and the lanterns are offered in the condition described. Their vintage Campingaz branding and original colourway may appeal to collectors of retro camping equipment and outdoor memorabilia.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
