Pair of Vintage Carlsbro Passive PA Speaker Cabinets
This lot comprises a pair of vintage Carlsbro passive PA and stage cabinet speakers, offered as a matched pair. Each cabinet is finished in black carpet-style covering with a black perforated mesh front and the Carlsbro name displayed in a gold-tone badge to the centre of the grille. The cabinets have a robust, upright form with bevelled edges, typical of speaker enclosures designed for live sound and stage use. As passive units, they are intended to be driven by an external amplifier.
Condition and Collectability
The speakers show general signs of use consistent with their age, including scuffing and light wear to the carpet covering. The right-hand cabinet has a small area of damage to the top-left corner edge, and there are some marks visible on the mesh grilles. Both cabinets remain in their original black finish and Carlsbro styling, which may appeal to collectors of vintage British PA equipment or to musicians seeking retro stage speakers. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
