Vintage Christian Dior Heart, CD Star and Chain Drop Earrings
This lot comprises a pair of vintage Christian Dior chain drop earrings, offered as described in the catalogue title. Each earring has a gold-tone stud top, which sits above a set of hanging chains and charms.
The earrings have a post-fitting stud top set with a clear crystal in a heart-shaped mount. Each earring has two curb-link chains that fall from the stud, with a small teardrop drop set with a clear stone suspended from one of the chains. One earring is finished with a CD charm at the base, and the other with a star charm. The design combines a heart-shaped crystal top with the Dior CD motif and a star, all in a gold-tone finish.
Condition and Collector Interest
The earrings are offered in the condition visible in the photographs and the catalogue description. No further information on wear, function or originality has been confirmed, so prospective buyers are welcome to contact the department with any questions before bidding.
The combination of a recognisable Christian Dior CD charm, a star motif and crystal detailing gives these earrings appeal for collectors of vintage designer jewellery and those seeking statement chain drop earrings from a well-known house.
