A Vintage Coca-Cola Tinplate Napkin Dispenser
This vintage Coca-Cola tinplate napkin dispenser has a bold red body printed with classic white Coca-Cola branding. The top and front panels carry the Coca-Cola script logo, the slogan “The Pause That Refreshes”, and the wording “Drink Coca-Cola”, “Coke” and “Refreshing”, along with registered trademark notices. The body is framed by a rounded, chrome-effect metal rim that gives it the streamlined look of a mid-century diner counter. A open side aperture holds a stack of paper napkins, a design that recalls the countertop dispensers once common in cafés and soda fountains.
Condition, Originality and Collector Appeal
The dispenser shows the signs of age and handling expected of a piece of this type. There are light surface marks and minor wear to the red paint, and the chrome-effect rim shows scuffing and small areas of wear, most noticeable along the lower edge.
