Vintage Darts and .22 Calibre Pellets
This lot comprises a collection of vintage darts alongside a tin of .22 calibre rifle pellets. The darts appear to be of a traditional style, likely dating from the mid-20th century, and are contained within a weathered cardboard box bearing the name ‘Vanessa’. The box also features printed text referencing a ‘Serpentine Gut’ and claims of improved resilience, suggesting a focus on quality and durability in the dart construction.
Condition and Collectibility
The darts and pellets are presented as found, showing signs of age and wear consistent with their vintage. The box exhibits considerable wear and tear, with fading, creasing, and minor damage. This lot would appeal to collectors of vintage sporting goods, particularly those interested in darts, shooting sports, or ephemera relating to game equipment. The combination of darts and pellets offers a unique glimpse into recreational activities of a bygone era.
