Three Vintage Dining Chairs
Offered here is a group of three vintage dining chairs, each with a ladder back and an upholstered seat. The chairs share a matching form, with a dark-stained wooden frame, two horizontal rails in the back and tapered legs. The seats are covered in a tan vinyl finish, which sits within a shaped wooden seat frame. Their simple, unfussy lines reflect the mid-century and retro dining styles popular in the decades past. The maker is not identified.
Condition and Originality
The chairs show signs of age and use consistent with their vintage status. The wooden frames carry some surface wear and marks, and the vinyl seat coverings show scuffing and light marks across their surfaces. The rails and joints appear intact on inspection, but no further assurances are given. The chairs retain their original form and upholstery, which may appeal to collectors of retro furniture or to buyers seeking characterful dining chairs for a period interior or a restoration project.
