Introduction

This is a vintage silver plate cocktail shaker, exhibiting classic barware design. The shaker features a distinctive form, likely dating from the mid-20th century, and is constructed from silver plate over a base metal. It includes a fitted lid and a spring-loaded stopper mechanism, and a small chain to prevent loss of the stopper. The design suggests a period influence, possibly Art Deco or mid-century modern, making it a stylish addition to any home bar or collection.

Condition

The cocktail shaker presents with signs consistent with age and use. The silver plate exhibits some wear and patina, which is typical for vintage items. The stopper mechanism appears to be present, though its functionality is not confirmed. This shaker would appeal to collectors of vintage barware, enthusiasts of mid-century design, or those seeking a unique and stylish addition to their home bar.
