Introduction

This is a vintage first aid tin, likely dating from the mid-20th century. The tin is constructed from metal with a painted finish, displaying a classic design associated with early medical supplies. Its compact size suggests it was intended for portable use, perhaps for home, car, or travel. The tin’s aesthetic reflects a bygone era of medical care, offering a glimpse into the history of first aid practices.

Condition

The tin exhibits signs of age and wear consistent with its vintage nature. The paint shows areas of loss and surface wear, adding to its character and authenticity. While not pristine, this tin presents a desirable patina for collectors of vintage medical items or metal tins. It would be a charming addition to a collection, or a unique decorative piece for those interested in retro aesthetics.
