Vintage Scandinavian Fishing Knife
This is a vintage Scandinavian fishing knife, featuring a single-edged blade designed for precision work. The knife has a full tang construction, extending through the handle for added strength and balance. The handle is crafted from a light-coloured material, likely birch burl, providing a comfortable and secure grip. It comes complete with a traditionally styled leather sheath, designed to protect the blade and allow for easy carry.
Condition and Collectability
This knife shows signs of age and use, with some patina to the blade and wear to the handle. The leather sheath exhibits wear consistent with its age, adding to its vintage character. This knife would be of interest to collectors of Scandinavian knives, vintage tools, or those interested in traditional fishing and hunting equipment. It presents a unique opportunity to own a piece of functional history.
