Vintage Fleischwolf Meat Mincer and Universal Can Opener Lot
This lot offers a vintage Fleischwolf meat mincer alongside a universal can opener, two mechanical kitchen tools from the mid-twentieth century. The mincer is a cast metal table-clamp design with a hand crank and a wooden handle, and the body bears the SWM maker’s mark. It is presented in its original green printed box, which is marked Fleischwolf, Size 5 and Grösse 5, and is shown with the mincer and its wooden-handled crank within a plain card carton. The can opener is a wall-type or clamp-style unit with a white painted body and a Producta badge, and it has a visible crank mechanism. Both pieces show the clean, functional styling typical of their era.
Condition and Collector Interest
The mincer is shown in its original cardboard packaging, which shows general wear, staining and marks to the surfaces, and the metal parts show light surface marks consistent with age and use. The can opener shows age-related wear and some discolouration to its painted finish. The original box is a notable feature, as boxed kitchenalia of this kind is less commonly seen in complete original packaging. Collectors of vintage kitchen equipment, German-made domestic tools and mid-century household ephemera may find this combination of an original box and two distinct utensils of interest.
