Two Boxes of Retro and Vintage Football Annuals

This lot comprises two boxes of retro and vintage football annuals, presented in blue Class 1 storage boxes. The first box contains a run of Shoot Annuals, with titles legible on the spines including the 1972, 1977, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987 editions, alongside an FA Soccer Book for 1982 and further FA Soccer Books for Boys. The second box holds a quantity of Topical Times Football Book titles, with the series name printed on the spines and covers, including a larger hardback Topical Times Football Book featuring a footballer on the front cover. The publications range across the 1970s and 1980s and offer a broad view of the football annual format of that period.

Condition and Collector Interest

The annuals are offered as a mixed group within their storage boxes, and individual condition varies from title to title. Spines and covers show the general signs of age expected from books of this era, and the lot has not been individually examined for every page. Buyers should inspect the photographs and the lot in person where possible. We operate a soft close format, the auction will be extended by 3 minutes if a bid is placed in the closing 3 minutes. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that once a bid is placed we will not be able to issue any refunds unless there is a clear and obvious error made by ourselves in the item title, in the event of an incorrect bid being placed, you must contact us on the mobile phone number 07904 339160/description.

Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
