Five Vintage Fountain Pens with 14ct Gold Nibs
This lot comprises five assorted fountain pens, offered together as a collection. The lot description includes a Parker among the group. The pens present a varied range of barrel finishes, including a reddish snakeskin-effect pattern, a green and yellow chequered finish, a marbled green and brown celluloid barrel, a plain black example with a ribbed grip section, and a teal marbled barrel. Several pieces have gold-coloured nibs and gold-tone trim, and the lot is described as having 14ct gold nibs.
Condition and Collector Interest
The pens show wear consistent with age, including marks, tarnishing and surface scuffing to some nibs, along with wear to barrels and caps. Some pieces have separate caps. Each pen is offered as seen, and no guarantee is given regarding working order or completeness. The mix of finishes and makes in one lot may appeal to collectors of vintage writing instruments, particularly those interested in celluloid barrels, decorative patterns and gold nibs.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
