Vintage Fuel Cans
This lot comprises two fuel cans, one constructed from metal and the other from plastic. The metal can displays a classic, robust design, finished in red with ‘DIESEL’ prominently displayed on its side. The plastic can is green and marked with a 5L capacity, suggesting it was intended for petrol or other fuels. These cans represent a bygone era of fuel storage, often seen in garages, workshops, and on vehicles.
Condition
Both cans exhibit signs of age and use, with the metal can showing considerable surface rust and wear. The plastic can has some scuffs and discoloration, consistent with its age. Despite their condition, these cans hold appeal for collectors of vintage automobilia, or those seeking to add a retro aesthetic to a workshop or display. They are presented as found, and their functionality is not assessed.
