Vintage Geometric Pattern Rug
This vintage geometric pattern rug measures approximately 4ft x 3ft and is offered as a decorative floor covering with a bold, traditional layout. Its design is built around two octagonal medallions set on a cream field, each filled with a rust and blue ground and a stepped cross motif. Smaller stepped and diamond devices appear in the corners and between the medallions. The main field is framed by a series of borders, with a stylised flower-head pattern and a geometric band in blue, cream and rust tones.
Condition and Collector Interest
The rug shows clear signs of age and use. The colours have softened over time, and there is visible wear across the pile, particularly in the blue ground areas and along the central field. The fringes are frayed and uneven, and the edges show further signs of wear. Small areas of surface marking are visible in places. The rug is offered as seen, and the extent of any restoration is not known. Its strong medallion composition and traditional palette may appeal to collectors of vintage geometric rugs and to buyers seeking a characterful piece for a period or rustic interior.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
