## A Victorian Print Collection in Original Suitcase

This lot comprises a collection of nine George Baxter prints, dating from the 19th century, presented within a well-travelled vintage suitcase. The prints vary in size and depict a range of subjects, likely scenes of travel, architecture, and portraiture, characteristic of Baxter’s distinctive printing technique. The suitcase itself is a sturdy, brown leather piece, showing signs of extensive travel with various stickers indicating past journeys, including those associated with the Orient Line and the P&O Steam Navigation Company.

## Condition and Collectibility

The prints are in varying conditions, some framed and some unframed, reflecting their age and handling. The suitcase exhibits wear and tear consistent with its age and use, including scuffs, marks, and some damage to the leather. The suitcase adds to the appeal, offering a display case and a piece of history in its own right.
