Vintage Hall Coat Rack with Barometer
This antique hall coat rack features a central mirrored panel flanked by coat hooks, and incorporates a barometer. The rack is constructed from wood, likely oak, and displays a classic Edwardian style. The inclusion of a barometer adds a functional and decorative element, suggesting it was intended for use in a hallway or entranceway.
Condition and Collectibility
The coat rack shows signs consistent with age and use, including some wear to the wood and possible minor imperfections to the mirror. Despite this, it remains a visually appealing and potentially functional piece of antique hall furniture. Collectors of vintage hall décor or barometers may find this rack particularly desirable due to its combination of form and function.
