Vintage Hallmarked Silver Wristwatch
This vintage hallmarked silver wristwatch features a cushion-shaped silver case with a white enamel dial, Arabic numerals and a red “12” at the top. The fluted gold-toned crown sits at the three o’clock position, and the watch is fitted to a brown leather strap. The case bears a 925 standard mark to the inner case, and the movement is jewelled. No maker’s name is clearly visible on the dial or movement, so the watch is offered as an unbranded example of its period. The engraved case back carries a script monogram and initials.
Condition and Originality
The silver case shows commensurate age-related wear, including scratches and light marks across the body and back, with some tarnishing evident around the edges. The dial displays minor marks and the leather strap shows signs of wear and surface cracking. The movement has not been tested, and no guarantee is given as to its working order or timekeeping, so this watch is sold as seen.
