Vintage Indian Coin Belt
This is a striking vintage belt constructed from numerous small, circular coins. The coins are linked together to form a flexible band, creating a unique and visually appealing accessory. The belt exhibits a rustic, handcrafted aesthetic, indicative of traditional Indian craftsmanship and likely originating from a tribal or rural community. The coins appear to be made of a base metal, possibly brass or a similar alloy, and display varying degrees of wear and patina, adding to their character.
Condition and Collectibility
The belt shows signs of age and wear consistent with its vintage nature. Some coins may exhibit minor damage or discoloration, but this contributes to its authentic, aged appearance. This belt would appeal to collectors of ethnic jewellery, tribal art, or vintage accessories. Its unique construction and cultural significance make it a desirable piece for those interested in adding a distinctive item to their collection or incorporating it into a bohemian or eclectic style.
