Vintage-Style Industrial Wood and Galvanised Metal Modular Wine Storage Rack
This lot is a vintage-style modular wine storage rack combining timber and galvanised metal construction. The rack is built from a galvanised steel framework with riveted joints, in which angled wooden bottle cradles are set in a grid of open bays. Diagonal metal bracing is fitted to the lower left corner of the frame, and the timber cradles are arranged so that bottles can be stored on their sides. The industrial styling suits both domestic cellars and commercial display settings.
Condition and Collectability
The rack shows general signs of age and use, including surface marks and weathering to the galvanised frame, some visible rust to the rivet heads, and wear to the timber bottle cradles. The construction appears to be intact in the areas visible, although the item is offered as seen and no further testing has been carried out. Its combination of reclaimed-looking timber and metalwork will appeal to buyers seeking characterful industrial storage or to collectors of vintage-style wine furniture.
