Vintage Hand-Knotted Jade Necklace
This is a vintage necklace featuring a series of hand-knotted, round jade beads. The beads are a lovely shade of green, and are interspersed with small accent beads. A large, flat, circular jade pendant hangs from the necklace, adding a focal point to the design. The necklace is strung on a cord, and the hand-knotting between each bead suggests a careful and traditional craftsmanship.
Condition and Collectibility
The necklace appears to be in good vintage condition, with expected wear consistent with age. The jade beads exhibit natural variations in colour and translucency, adding to their character. This necklace would appeal to collectors of vintage jewelry, particularly those interested in Asian-inspired pieces or jade artifacts. The hand-knotted construction and unique pendant make it a desirable addition to any collection.
