Vintage Jewellery Case with Contents
This lot comprises a vintage jewellery case with a quantity of costume jewellery contents. The case has a black outer finish with a burgundy velvet-lined interior and a brass-effect catch to the front. The lift-up lid reveals two deep compartments on the left and a fitted tray on the right, with dividers and slots for rings and other smaller pieces. The contents include a large mixed selection of beaded necklaces in wood, blue and pale tones, a pearl-effect stretch bracelet, bangles, pendants, brooches and assorted chain jewellery.
Condition and Collector Interest
The case shows the wear expected of its age, and the velvet lining is in visible use. The contents have not been individually tested or identified, and no maker’s marks or hallmarks are stated in this description. The lot is offered as seen, and buyers are encouraged to view it in person or request further images before bidding. The mixed nature of the contents, together with the original fitted case, may appeal to collectors of vintage costume jewellery and to those interested in storing or displaying jewellery in period-style cases.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
