Vintage Kenwood Midi Hi-Fi Component Stack with Matching Speakers
This lot comprises a vintage Kenwood midi hi-fi component stack with a matching pair of Kenwood stereo speakers. The stacked separates include a CD player with a front-loading tray, a double auto-reverse cassette deck with twin cassette compartments and auto tape selector, and a further unit in the middle of the stack. The lowest component is an amplifier-style unit with a large central volume control, a display window and a row of source and function buttons. The two Kenwood speakers have black fabric grilles and are finished in matching black cabinets with the Kenwood badge to the lower front.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The stack and speakers show the wear and marks expected of equipment of this age and use, including scuffs and general signs of handling to the black casings. The units are presented as a complete stack and are offered as seen, with no claims made regarding their operation. As a matched Kenwood set with its original speakers, this lot may appeal to collectors of vintage Japanese hi-fi, to enthusiasts restoring or refurbishing classic separates, or to buyers looking for a retro stereo system for display or use.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
