Two Vintage Kingsway No5 Brass Lighters
This lot comprises two vintage pocket lighters, both marked “BRASS No5” and “Kingsway”, together with a brown leather pouch stamped “Kingsway BRASS No.5”. The lighters are of a slim, rounded, capsule-like form, one finished in a bright chrome-style tone and the other in a dark lacquered finish with a gold-coloured band to the body. The pouch is stitched around the edges and has a rounded top, designed to hold one of the lighters.
Good Used Condition With Original Pouch
Both lighters show general signs of age and handling, including light surface scratches and marks, most noticeable on the chrome example. The leather pouch shows some wear to its surface and stitching, consistent with its age. The stamped markings on the lighters and pouch remain legible, and the pieces appear to have been kept together as a set. Collectors of vintage smoking accessories and Kingsway pieces may be interested in this lot, particularly for the matching pouch and the differing finishes of the two lighters. Please note that the condition of the mechanisms has not been tested.

We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
