English Civil War Lead Soldier Collection
This lot comprises a collection of vintage lead soldiers representing both Royalist and Parliamentarian armies from the English Civil War period. The figures are detailed, showcasing the uniforms and weaponry of the era. The collection appears to be from a wargaming or display set, offering a glimpse into the military history of 17th-century England. The lot is identified as DW1264.
Condition and Collectibility
The lead soldiers exhibit signs of age and playwear, with some paint loss and minor damage consistent with their vintage. Despite this, the figures remain visually appealing and historically significant. This collection would be of interest to collectors of military miniatures, wargaming enthusiasts, or those with an interest in English history.
