Vintage Fishing Rod / Flag Pole Holder
This is a vintage fishing rod or flag pole support holder, constructed with a galvanised steel cup and a robust leather strap. The design suggests it would have been secured around a pole or similar structure, providing a stable resting point for a fishing rod or flag. The leather strap shows signs of age and use, adding to its character and authenticity.
Condition and Collectibility
The holder exhibits signs consistent with age and use, including some wear to the leather and minor surface corrosion to the galvanised steel. It appears to be largely original, retaining its vintage charm. This piece would appeal to collectors of fishing memorabilia, nautical items, or vintage tools, and could also be repurposed for display or decorative purposes.
