A Vintage Lone Star Automatic Cap Gun
This lot is a vintage Lone Star automatic cap gun, a toy pistol of the type once popular with young collectors. The frame is marked “9 MM AUTOMATIC” and the piece is modelled as a semi-automatic pistol with an extended barrel and a trigger guard. It is finished in black with a brown chequered grip panel, and a round medallion detail is set into the side of the frame. Lone Star is the named maker, as given in the lot description.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The black finish shows considerable wear, with areas of flaking and lighter metal showing through, particularly along the barrel, slide and lower frame. The chequered grips appear to be present and the overall form of the piece is intact. No further mechanical details are given, and the lot is offered as seen. Its age, original finish and period markings may appeal to collectors of vintage toy guns, cap guns and Lone Star memorabilia, or to buyers looking for a nostalgic piece with genuine play-worn character.
