Vintage Mahogany Drop Leaf Dining Table
This vintage mahogany drop leaf dining table measures W54″ x D31″ x H28″ and is offered as a single lot in our furniture sale.
The table has a rectangular top with a warm reddish-brown finish and a visible grain. It has two drop leaves, which are supported by legs with square-section uprights and a stretcher frame beneath. The feet are tipped with brass-toned caps. The construction is plain and understated, which suits a dining room, breakfast area or reading corner.
Condition and Collector Interest
The top displays a smooth, polished surface with the ordinary marks and light wear expected of a piece of its age. Further condition details are not recorded in this entry, so interested buyers are encouraged to inspect the table in person or contact the saleroom before bidding. Drop leaf tables of this kind appeal to buyers seeking practical vintage dining furniture with a classic mahogany finish and a compact footprint when the leaves are down.
