Vintage Manchester United Busby Babes Wall Mirror
This vintage Manchester United wall mirror commemorates the Busby Babes and the club’s centenary. It is presented in a gilt-coloured moulded frame and features a mirrored central panel bearing the club crest, with red, green and black decorative borders. The printed text reads “The Centenary of the World’s Greatest Football Club” and “Manchester United 1978-9”, and includes a panel titled “The Immortal Busby Babes”. Further panels carry the headings “The Early Years”, “Honours” and “Old Trafford”, with small engraved name plates along the lower green band, including one for Harry Gregg. The design combines the club’s colours with mirrored and printed elements.
Condition and Collectability
The frame shows general signs of age consistent with its vintage, and the glazing and printed panels are displayed as present. No further condition details are given in the hint, and the piece is offered as seen. The mirror will appeal to collectors of Manchester United and Busby Babes memorabilia, as well as to those interested in football club commemorative pieces from the late 1970s. Its combination of club history text, Old Trafford reference and named player plates gives it a clear thematic focus for display.
