Vintage Mechanical Bracket Clock with Key
This vintage mechanical bracket clock is offered with its key. It features a wooden case with a domed top, a brass carrying handle and a stepped plinth base, giving it a traditional bracket clock profile suited to a mantelpiece, shelf or sideboard.
The dial has a silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals and a decorative fretted brass-effect surround, with blue hands set against a dark central centre. The case has a glazed front and a rear door, which is shown open in the lot images. No maker or model name is visible in the images, so the clock is offered as an unbranded example.
Condition and Collector Interest
The clock shows general signs of age and use, including light wear and marks to the edges of the wooden case and plinth. A length of green string is tied to the carrying handle. The dial, hands and case appear to be original to the piece, though no further documentation is available. Collectors of vintage mechanical clocks and bracket clocks may be drawn to its traditional form, its Roman numeral dial and its key-wound mechanism.

We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
