Vintage Mixed Games Lot Including Chess and Jigsaw Puzzles
This mixed lot brings together a selection of games and puzzles. Two boxed Jig-Saws from the Theatre puzzles are included, each with the series listing printed on the box, and the lid of the upper example reads “900 fully interlocking pieces”. A boxed Jaques London 1795 travel games set is offered, with a chequered board and a folded instruction leaflet visible in its compartments. A wooden chessboard with a walnut and maple chequered pattern is included, alongside a boxed set of 28 double six dominoes made in Taiwan and a Past Times Miniature Bagatelle board with a clear plastic cover.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The boxes show wear, including creasing, marks and fading to the printed artwork, and the Jaques box has visible scuffing. The contents of the games have not been verified as complete, and buyers should make their own enquiries before bidding. The theatre-themed jigsaw boxes, with their vivid mid-century illustrations, and the wooden chess and dominoes sets may appeal to collectors of vintage games and to those looking for traditional family pastimes.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
