The Modern Motor Engineer Book Set
This lot comprises two sets of “The Modern Motor Engineer” books, appearing to be Volumes I through IV. These books represent a detailed exploration of automotive engineering principles and practices, likely dating from the mid-20th century. The covers are a distinctive shade of green, and the books appear to be part of a comprehensive series intended for mechanics, engineers, and enthusiasts seeking a deeper understanding of motor vehicle technology.
Condition and Collectibility
The books exhibit signs of age and use, with wear to the covers and spines. The pages show some discolouration consistent with their age. Despite this, the books remain a fascinating glimpse into the history of automotive engineering and would be of interest to collectors of technical literature, automotive memorabilia, or vintage books.
