Vintage Monopoly, Scrabble and BMW Puzzle Lot
This lot comprises two vintage Scrabble boxes, a Monopoly property trading board game and an 800 piece deluxe jigsaw puzzle. The Scrabble boxes are marked as made by Spear’s Games, manufactured by J.W. Spear & Sons Ltd of Enfield, Middlesex, England. The Monopoly box is red and cream and reads “Property Trading Board Game”, with part of the John Waddington Ltd imprint visible. The puzzle features a white BMW 3.0 CSL Turbo racing car in blue, red and green livery, with Bosch, Shell and Goodyear branding and the text “Bavarian Motor Works” and “800 PS, Höchstgeschwindigkeit ca. 340 km/h” printed on the box.
Condition and Collector Appeal
All four boxes show signs of age and handling, including edge wear, marks and some discolouration, consistent with their vintage. The contents of each box have not been confirmed and are offered as seen. Retro board games and motorsport-themed puzzles from this era are often sought by collectors of nostalgic family games and automotive memorabilia, and the combination of classic titles and a period BMW racing puzzle makes this lot of interest to both groups.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that once a bid is placed we will not be able to issue any refunds unless there is a clear and obvious error made by ourselves in the item title, in the event of an incorrect bid being placed, you must contact us on the mobile phone number 07904 339160/description.
Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
