Large Vintage Morland Pub Sign
This large vintage metal pub sign bears the Morland name and is offered as a decorative advertising piece for collectors of breweriana and pub signage. The sign is painted on flat metal and depicts a figure wearing a lace ruff collar and a pearl necklace, set against a dark blue ground. The word MORLAND is picked out in gold lettering along the lower edge, beneath a gold banding line that runs across the painted panel.
Condition and Originality
The sign shows considerable rust and surface wear across its full area, with visible paint loss, staining and corrosion around the edges. The painted decoration remains legible, and the gold lettering and central portrait are still discernible through the weathering. As an unrestored vintage piece, its patina and worn character may appeal to collectors seeking an authentic, characterful example of Morland pub signage for display in a home, bar or collection.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
