## National Cash Register – Model 312
This is a striking vintage National Cash Register, Model 312. Featuring a beautifully ornate brass and wood construction, this register embodies the craftsmanship of a bygone era. The detailed mechanics and elegant design make it a captivating piece of retail history, originally intended for use in a bustling store environment. The register features a complex system of keys, levers, and displays, showcasing the ingenuity of early 20th-century engineering.
## Condition and Collectibility
This National Cash Register exhibits signs consistent with age and use. The wood shows patina and wear, and the brass components display some oxidation. While the mechanics have not been tested, this register presents a wonderful opportunity for restoration or display as a unique collectible. Its aesthetic appeal and historical significance make it a desirable item for collectors of antique cash registers, retail memorabilia, or those seeking a distinctive decorative piece.
