Box of Mobile Phone Cases Including Vintage Nokia Cases
This lot comprises a box of mobile phone cases, including a number of vintage Nokia cases. The cases are presented in a blue plastic storage tray, and several remain sealed in card blister packaging. Printed labels on the packaging read 3120, 5100, 5210 and MY X5, each marked as a fonelocker cover and bearing the “Be Inspired” branding. A further card features a Playboy design in pink and black, with a 3120 marking, and the cases in the tray include a range of colours and finishes, from cream and white to orange and bronze-tone.
Condition and Collector Interest
The packaging shows general signs of age and handling, with creasing, scuffing and marks to the card backing and blister packs. The storage tray is grimy and discoloured in places, and the loose items show wear consistent with their age. The cases are offered as seen, and no testing has been carried out. For collectors of early mobile phone accessories, this lot offers a varied selection of sealed and loose fonelocker covers with period packaging and branding, which may appeal to those interested in Nokia handset styling and the aftermarket accessory market of the period.
